Wesley Rudes Named Executive Director at C&W

Wesley Rudes has been named an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield (CWK), according to a press release issued by the company.

Mr. Rudes will work out of Cushman & Wakefield’s Downtown Manhattan office at 100 Wall Street and will work with Frank Cento, one of the company’s executive directors, doing landlord and tenant representation in the downtown market.

“Wes Rudes has a first-class reputation among New York brokers as a master deal-closer specializing in the downtown sub-market,” said Ron Lo Russo, the president of C&W’s New York Tri-State Region, in prepared remarks. “We are excited by the influx of new talent into our firm and we expect Wes to make major contributions to our success.”

Most recently, Mr. Rudes served as a principal with commercial real estate firm Cresa. Prior to his tenure at Cresa, he worked at MHP Real Estate Services and at what was then Newmark. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Albany and a law degree from Hofstra Law School.

The press release noted that Mr. Rudes has successfully completed more than 4 million square feet of transactions during his 20 years working in commercial real estate. The firms that he has represented include NYI, Velocita Communications, Con Ed Communications and Peer 1 Hosting.

“I’m very excited to work with Cushman,” said Mr. Rudes. “It has a tremendous global platform and I think it’s going to be a great fit for me and my business.”
