Fashion Accessory Company Signs Lease in Herald Square

reprintsFashion accessory company SGS International has signed a five-year lease at 10 West 33rd Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, Commercial Observer has learned.
The new lease includes 2,117 square feet of space on part of the building’s eighth floor. SGS International is relocating from 34 West 36th Street. According to a spokeswoman for Adams & Co., the company representing the landlord Ten West Thirty Third Associates, asking rents were $48 per square foot.
David Levy of Adams & Co. represented the landlord in negotiations. Abe Labaton of Murray Hill Properties represented SGS International.
According to the Adams & Co. spokeswoman, the space in the Garment District will be used for general and executives offices for the company, as well as an accessories showroom.
Neither Mr. Adams nor Murray Hill Properties could not immediately be reached for comment.
Other tenants at 10 West 33rd Street include Accessory Zone, ELF Cosmetics, Gina Group, H.E.R. Accessories and HMY Jewelry.
