Joseph Sitt’s Thor Equities has purchased three Williamsburg properties for approximately $17.8 million and is planning to turn the site into a 10,000-square-foot retail development.
Thor paid $14 million for 124 North 6th Street and $3.75 million for 126 and 134 North 6th Street, all between Bedford Avenue and Berry Street, property records recorded last Thursday indicate. The two sales closed on Aug. 25.
According to a page on Thor’s website, the developer is planning a two-story, retail project, with each floor comprised of 5,000 square feet. The project, marketed with an address of 130 North 6th Street, has 50 feet of frontage. The ideal tenants are retail, retail showroom or restaurant space, Thor’s website indicates.
Thor, which declined to comment, has not sought any significant permits for the site from the city’s Department of Buildings.
Chai Home Kitchen is at 124 North 6th Street, Ramen Yebisu at 126 North 6th Street and Tacu Tacu is at 136 North 6th Street.
The sellers are affiliated with a Merrick, N.Y. accounting firm.
