The Jerry M. Feeney residential real estate law firm will expand into a space in the southern section of Midtown East through a five-year, 5,850-square-foot sublease at Elk Investors‘ 33 East 33rd Street, Adams & Co. and ABS Partners Real Estate announced today.
The firm will move from 303 Fifth Avenue to a space vacated by the Converge Direct marketing company with asking rents of $48 per square foot, said Alan Bonett of Adams & Co.
“33 East 33rd Street is a great location that will allow Jerry M. Feeney to evolve and expand in a supportive environment that promotes growth,” Mr. Bonett said in a prepared statement. “Located between Madison and Park Avenue, 33 East 33rd Street is a well-maintained, centrally-located building in close proximity to local transportation—it is an ideal location for a company that is expanding.”
Mr. Bonett and his Adams & Co. colleague Bradley Cohn negotiated on behalf of the law office, while Ron Zimmerman, Andrew Udis and Ian Weiss of ABS Partners represented the landlord and sub-landlord in the deal.
“Jerry M. Feeney is an exciting, growing company and a quality long-term tenant for 33 East 33rd St.,” Mr. Weiss said. “This is a beautiful, well-located property that presents a great value to its tenants. Ownership continues to undertake capital improvements to the common areas to further improve the asset.”
