The building at 195 Bowery has been bought in an off-market deal by Thor Equities for $4 million.
The 1,600-square-foot space, sold by Bowery B LLC, includes ground-floor retail space and a 400-square-foot basement. Manhattan Stone Industry is the current tenant.
Tom Brady of Town Commercial represented Thor in the deal, which closed on Oct. 2.
“Commercial and retail condos are a sought-after product, especially in this neighborhood,” said Mr. Brady, referring to the area where Nolita meets Soho and the Lower East Side. “This area should only improve from here, and I think [Thor] will do quite well with this asset.”
Robert Allyn of Town Residential represented the seller in the deal.
The sale of 195 Bowery comes less than a month after neighboring 190 Bowery went under contract.
