Reebok Fit Hub has signed a 10-year, 4,078-square-foot-lease at 1132 Third Avenue, it was announced today. Asking rent for the ground floor retail space was $250 per square foot.
“Third Avenue in the 60s has rebounded and has become an extremely tight market once again,” said Michael Kadosh of CBRE (CBRE), who represented the landlord, in a statement. “1132 Third Avenue’s prime location is across the street from lululemon, making it a perfect fit for Reebok Fit Hub.”
Reebok Fit Hub, where customers can purchase fitness and training products, is expected to move in immediately. Located on the corner of 66th Street, 1132 Third Avenue boasts additional available space, which Mr. Kadosh is currently marketing along with space at 1049 Third Avenue.
As reported by The Commercial Observer, lululemon signed a four-month lease for a pop-up space at 1142 Third Avenue early this year. The pop-up served as a temporary outpost for the athletic apparel brand on Upper East Side as its 10,000-square-foot store at 1127 Third Avenue was renovated.
Jeremy Ezra and Yael Amron of RKF represented the tenant in the leasing transaction.
Mr. Ezra could not immediately be reached. CBRE did not immediately return requests for comment.
