Horizon Important will maintain its 6,021-square-foot space on the sixth floor of the building, next to neighboring tenants like DMF, Every Toe Covered, and South Street Industries, Inc.

David Levy, principal of Adams & Co., represented both Horizon Imports and the landlord, Ten West Thirty Third Associates, in the transaction.

The lease is one of several that Mr. Levy and Adams & Co. have brokered recently, totaling 18,877 square feet and including a 5,336-square-foot renewal for David Geller Associates, Inc. at 1071 Avenue of the Americas, another building in Midtown that the firm exclusively represents in leasing transactions.

“A mix of creative type office tenants and fashion tenants [are attracted to the building],” said Mr. Levy about 1071 Avenue of the Americas, though the statement can be extend to all of the properties that Adams & Co. represents, which are predominately located in the Garment District and surrounding area.

The company’s two buildings – 10 West 33rd Street and 1071 Avenue of the Americas – currently clock in at 97.4 percent and 91.67 percent occupied, respectively.  The former has increased from 94.8 percent since March 31 and the latter hopes to sign the remaining vacant floor this summer to bring the building to full occupancy.
