reprintsNorth Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System has taken a healthy chunk out of The Rudin Family’s 641 Lexington Avenue for a 10-year lease.
The deal, as was first reported by Lois Weiss of The NY Post, will be for an 11,706 square foot pre-built space on the second floor of the building. The space is to be used for an IT division of the North Shore-LIJ Health System.
Brian Waterman and Brent Ozarowski of Newmark (NMRK) Grubb Knight Frank represented North Shore-LIJ Health System in the deal. Robert Steinman of Rudin Management represented the landlord in-house. Asking rent was $55 a square foot.
The 439,000 square foot building already boasts another medical tenant. Memorial Sloan-Kettering has a 28,170 square foot counselling center on the seventh floor of the building, where it has been since 2005, according to CoStar.
