The first quarter of 2012 ended on a strong note across the Hudson River in the historic Morristown, New Jersey.

The 706,000 square foot Class A commercial center at Headquarters Plaza sits on the pedestrian-friendly and urban Speedwell Avenue. Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey was the exclusive brokerage firm for the complex and has signed, renewed, and expanded nine companies for 75,000 square feet over the past few months.

“Corporate users continue to be drawn to Headquarters Plaza’s comprehensive onsite amenities and services and vibrant downtown environment which are key attributes when recruiting and retaining employees today,” said Robert Donelley Jr, a broker from Cushman & Wakefield said in a release. “It’s also minutes from the many social and entertainment opportunities that have long made Morristown a popular destination for area residents and professionals.  The dramatic redevelopment of the City’s downtown district, including an influx of upscale restaurants, shops, luxury residences and more, has also played a significant role in drawing tenants to Headquarters Plaza.”

The tenants range from investment and accounting firms to law firms: Graham Curtin, Jones Trading, Morristown Capital, Telemanagement (TM Forum), Walsh & Borresen, Insight Global, Global Knowledge, and Gilford Securities.

The complex was a joint-venture between Fisher Development and the Olnick Organization. The team recently completed a multi-million dollar improvement program that include a 41,000 square foot fitness center, and a massage and spa center. The amenities will accompany the already existing restaurants, daycare center, Clearview cinema, and Hertz rental car services.

The complex is not fully leased with available units that range from 2,000 to 49,500 square feet.
