A Room With a Shoe

Moe’s Sneaker Spot, an Astoria-based shoe retailer, has added Glendale warehouse space as it expands its operations. The company took 8,083 square feet in a ten-year deal at the ATCO-owned Atlas Terminals, next to the Shops at Atlas Park at 80-28 Cooper Avenue.

The retailer’s collection of sneakers—enough, apparently, to fill at least a portion of a Queens warehouse—includes the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Dark Pine,’ a buzzed about shoe that caused a commotion when Moe’s hosted a release party for it this past August.

Other tenants at the Atlas Terminals warehouse include CF Peters, an international music publisher, and the ASPCA.

Asking rent was $12 per square foot and the retailer got a one-month rent abatement. Josh Popow of ATCO Brokerage Services represented the property owner, ATCO Properties & Management, while Joe Ibrahim, of Right Time Realty represented the tenant.
