Cadian Capital Management, a New York hedge fund, has signed a 10-year lease for the entire 36th floor at 535 Madison Avenue, brokers told The Commercial Observer. The 11,930-square-foot transaction earlier this month will allow the growing hedge fund to relocate from 461 Fifth Avenue.
Brokers for the Park Tower Group-owned building on Madison said the company’s new digs feature views of Central Park, the East River, the Hudson River and the Empire State Building while the building itself recently saw a lobby redesign and an elevator replacement.
CB Richard Ellis’ Brian Gell and Laurence Briody represented the Park Tower Group while Cynthia Wasserberger, Randy Abend and Alexis Tenner of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Cadian Capital Management.
“We’re thrilled to welcome such a prestigious firm to 535 Madison Avenue,” Alfred Bradshaw, executive vice president of the Park Tower Group, said in a statement. “Cadian Capital will enjoy both the fantastic space and incredible views that the 36th floor offers, along with the building’s many high-caliber amenities.”
