KiptonART has signed a six-month lease for a 2,200-square-foot pop-up art space at Hyatt‘s Andaz Hotel at 75 Wall Street in the Financial District. The Downtown Alliance helped facilitate the deal and will promote exhibits, part of its ongoing efforts to promote art in the neighborhood. KiptonART, according to its Web site, helps connect fledgling artists with powers in the New York art world.

Darrell Rubens and Annie Shinn of Winick Realty represented both the tenant and the landlord.

“Rather than have the space sit vacant while we find the ideal long-term tenant,” Ms. Shinn said, “we felt the art exhibitions produced by KiptonART would be the best fit for the building and the surrounding area.”
