reprintsCommunity Healthcare Network, which provides medical care and services to underserved New York neighborhoods, is shifting its administrative offices down the street to 60 Madison Avenue. The nonprofit signed a 15-year lease for the entire fifth floor.
Community Healthcare Network provides primary and mental health care, along with social services, in schools and community centers in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. Two mobile health vans make weekly visits to locations throughout the city, providing services including breast and pelvic exams, emergency contraception, H.I.V. counseling and testing, and testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
The organization is currently housed at 79 Madison Avenue, where it employs roughly 300 people. The asking rent for the new space was in the mid-$30s a square foot.
Michael Gambino and Michael Burgio of Cushman & Wakefield represented Community Healthcare Network in the transaction. The Newmark Knight Frank team of Michael Dreizen, Sandramara Dussin and Andy Udis repped the building’s owner, the Moinian Group.
