PrintSuzy Reingold, the former tri-state chief operating officer of Cushman & Wakefield (CWK), has moved on to rival brokerage Colliers (CIGI) International, Eastern Region President Joseph Harbert confirmed to Commercial Observer. She is consulting on the firm’s educational programs, he said.

Ms. Reingold departed C&W last December, after a lawsuit alleging gender discrimination that she filed in October of 2013

Then 66 years old, Ms. Reingold alleged that she was passed over for promotion due to her age and sex. Ron Lo Russo, then 38, got the big job—president of the tri-state region, and Ms. Reingold was made COO. Before the reshuffling, Mr. Lo Russo had served as vice president at Vornado Realty Trust.

In her suit, first reported by Crain’s New York Business, Ms. Reingold said she had been promised the job earlier by then-North America CEO Jim Underhill.

Colliers has been on a hiring spree of late, picking up other female executives from C&W. Last week, Kimberly Brennan, previously a senior managing director in C&W’s East Rutherford, N.J. office, jumped ship for Colliers, where she will hold the title of COO for the tri-state region. In January, Cynthia Foster joined the firm as the president of office services, leaving a post as executive managing director at C&W.
