Alice Fair, 28
First Vice President at CBRE
Not only has Alice Fair helped giant tech firms such as video social media company TikTok nab space in the Big Apple during the pandemic, she also had her third child, Rex, born in 2021.
The major deals she’s negotiated, for floor plates ranging as large as 300,000 square feet, underscore Fair’s work ethic. For the TikTok deal, which closed in the midst of the pandemic in 2020, Fair snagged 232,000 square feet for the company at the Durst Organization’s One Five One, the 48-story tower formerly known as Four Times Square.
“I’m actually always challenged and inspired by my clients,” Fair said. “We’re creatively helping them think through sometimes some really large investments into their business and how that’s going to propel their business and help them retain and attract the best talent. Over the last six years at CBRE, I’ve actually had some really awesome front-row experiences of dynamic companies such as Uber, TikTok, Pinterest, eBay [and] all of these companies that are on top of their game.”
Fair’s roster of clients goes on to include Salesforce, Estée Lauder and Snap Inc., the company that owns the social media platform Snapchat, which Fair is working with on a new deal. And the deals just keep on coming.
Fair is working with the Olayan Group, a Saudi conglomerate that owns 550 Madison Avenue, to lease out 200,000 square feet at a time to a few larger tenants and 25,000 square feet for full-floor leases.
“It’s been really awesome just to kind of be able to bring breadth and depth of knowledge to both my tenant rep and my landlord rep business by kind of working on all different facets of real estate,” Fair said.
In her precious free time, Fair likes to travel with her family to Cape Cod, explore New York City, catch a show or, after a long day, schedule a late-night manicure.—C.Y.
