Peter Weiss

Peter Weiss is the Chief Real Estate Officer at Latch, where he is in charge of educating the real estate community about Latch, co-leading the business organization, and driving top of funnel leads to fuel Latch’s growth. Throughout his career, Peter has been actively involved as principal and advisor in complex commercial real estate transactions in excess of $3 Billion.


As the first real estate executive at Latch, Peter has built a business unit tasked with external education, business development initiatives, and lead generation. In addition, he focuses on raising strategic capital, and helping Latch to expand into new verticals. Since joining in 2018, he has developed relationships with the most senior stakeholders at Latch’s largest customers, resulting in more than $200 million in pipeline. His expertise has also helped win several of the largest deals in Latch history totaling more than $75 million of booked revenue.

Prior to joining Latch, Peter was a Managing Director at Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, a real estate capital advisory company, where he led strategic capital allocation efforts for many of the country's largest real estate firms. Before Ackman-Ziff, Peter served as the Chief Investment.
