Lucid Trading, an app that lets users manage their trading accounts, has taken 8,263 square feet at 260 Spring Street in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, according to tenant broker Douglas Elliman.

The office lease was signed Oct. 1 with an asking rent of $85 per square foot. The length of the lease was five years. The deal was first reported by Traded.

Thomas Higgins from Douglas Elliman represented the tenant, while Colliers’ Jared Rutledge represented the landlord, StorageMart.

“After months of searching and missing out on two different spaces, I finally secured 260 Spring Street for my client,” Higgins told Commercial Observer. “The New York City commercial leasing market is becoming more and more competitive, and finding the right space takes persistence, patience and timing.”

It’s unclear whether the lease represents a new location or a relocation for Lucid Trading, which was founded in early 2025.

Rutledge did not immediately respond to CO’s request for comment.

Situated between Varick and Hudson streets, 260 Spring Street is an 11-story mixed-use property. Tenants include ground-floor retailer Manhattan Mini Storage (a division of landlord StorageMart) and FedEx.
