Multifamily data company ApartmentIQ addressed its need for funding when the growing company announced in August 2026 that it had secured a $25 million follow-on funding round.

Susquehanna Growth Equity funded the round after leading ApartmentIQ’s $22.5 million Series B financing in 2021. Back then, the company was known as Rentable, a large national apartment marketplace founded in 2013.

ApartmentIQ provides multifamily operators, owners and property management companies with data, revenue management and market research tools to help see their markets in real time, make predictive decisions, and automate manual work. Its core market survey platform supports 1,500 portfolios and 70 percent of the National Multifamily Housing Council’s top 50 owners.

In 2026, the company launched MavenAI, an AI-powered multifamily marketing agent that automates workflows. It also introduced Explore Pro, a market intelligence platform used by operators, investors and developers to identify acquisition, development, redevelopment and competitive opportunities in real time; and Daylight, an AI-powered revenue management platform trained on nearly six years of daily market data across 40 million units.

“We are taking the data that powers our market survey platform we’ve been collecting and adding additional products,” Alec Slocum, co-founder and CEO of ApartmentIQ, said at the time of the follow-on funding announcement. “There’s two additional products that we’ve launched in the last nine months based on that same data. We call the first one Explore Pro, which is a market research tool used by acquisitions asset management teams to figure out where they should buy, build and redevelop. The second product we’ve launched is called Daylight. It’s a revenue management tool that’s powered by the public data that we’ve collected.”

Although further funding for ApartmentIQ is not in the foreseeable future, the company expects to increase its current 135-employee headcount by about 50 percent and to add new products through 2026, said Slocum.
