Harrison Street Adds Three More Former PGIM Employees to Its Payroll

Harrison Street Asset Management might officially be on a poaching spree from one particular firm.

Two weeks after announcing the addition of three leadership appointments, Harrison Street said Tuesday that it has hired Jon Glass and two others to guide its health care and senior housing asset management operations.

Glass, Michael Corsini and Hardie Jackson all join the firm from PGIM Real Estate, the same place from which Harrison Street poached Dan Fanelli, new co-head of its Investor Solutions Group.

“The additions of Jon, Michael and Hardie reflect our continued commitment to investing in exceptional talent as we expand our senior housing platform,” Ben Mohns, global head of asset management and real estate at Harrison Street, said in a statement. 

Glass has spent the last eight years at PGIM leading the asset management strategy for its senior housing portfolio and will continue in a similar capacity at Harrison Street as a managing director alongside Brandon Metzler.

Corsini and Jackson will serve as senior associates at Harrison Street.

PGIM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“They bring an exceptional track record of managing institutional-quality senior housing portfolios and will further strengthen our asset management capabilities at a time when the sector is benefiting from compelling demographic tailwinds and growing investor interest,” Mohns added.

Senior housing has been a major focus for Harrison Street, which has invested $16 billion and acquired 46,000 units in the asset class throughout its roughly 20-year history.
