Real estate investment firm SkyREM has secured $101.8 million to refinance a 1.9 million-square-foot industrial portfolio across the East Coast, Commercial Observer has learned.

CIBC provided the nonrecourse financing, which carries an initial three-year term with two one-year extension options. JLL Capital MarketsPeter Rotchford, Steven Binswanger and Lucas Borges arranged the transaction on behalf of SkyREM.

“This financing reflects the strength of the portfolio and gives us additional flexibility to continue investing in well-located industrial assets where we see compelling long-term value,” SkyREM CEO Alexander Dembitzer said in a statement.

The industrial portfolio spans four properties and is 100 percent occupied by six tenants, according to JLL. The East Coast properties, located in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, serve a range of warehousing, manufacturing and e-commerce uses.

SkyREM, which holds dual offices in New York City and Philadelphia, owns and operates 30 properties across a largely industrial U.S. portfolio, according to its website. The firm counts Lockheed Martin, FedEx, Amazon and Shein among its major tenants.

SkyREM most recently acquired a 325,334-square-foot manufacturing facility in Casa Grand, Ariz., according to a January release. In early 2025, the firm secured a $170 million refinancing for a 10-building, 2.5 million-square-foot portfolio. That loan was provided by affiliates of Apollo, and was also arranged by JLL.
