A cybersecurity risk management firm is renewing its Midtown office space, Commercial Observer has learned.

SecurityScorecard signed a five-year renewal on its 8,475-square-foot space at 1140 Avenue of the Americas, owned by American Strategic Investment Company, where it has been since 2023, according to tenant broker JLL.

The asking rent was not immediately disclosed, but the average office asking rent in Midtown in the second quarter of 2026 was $86.18 per square foot, according to a CBRE report.

“SecurityScorecard is experiencing tremendous momentum as organizations around the world increasingly rely on our platform to manage cyber risk across their digital ecosystems,” Aleksandr Yampolskiy, CEO and founder of SecurityScorecard, said in a statement. “Renewing our headquarters at 1140 Avenue of the Americas reflects our long-term commitment to the city and provides our team with a workplace that supports continued growth, innovation and collaboration.”

JLL’s Valentin Stobetsky negotiated on behalf of the tenant, while Josh Kuriloff, Matthias Li, Heather Thomas, Pierce Hance and Nicole Estevez of Cushman & Wakefield handled the deal for the landlord.

“It has a premier Midtown location, outstanding transit access, modern amenities and a unique full-floor office with an expansive private outdoor terrace that enhances the employee experience,” Stobetsky said in a statement.

Li echoed the sentiment that the Midtown market and the building’s premium offerings would aid the company in its expansion.

C&W did not immediately respond to a request for additional comment.

The landlord, which also goes by  American Realty Capital New York City REIT or New York City REIT, arranged a lease at the same tower for Epic Insurance in February, when the company took 25,500 square feet.
