nordstrom Rack has signed a 22,000-square-foot lease in Wellington, Fla., the Seattle-based retailer announced Thursday.

MetLife Investment Management owns the shopping center, while Urban Retail Properties manages the property. MetLife acquired the 207,000-square-foot property in 2018 for $73.75 million, records show.

The Shoppes at Isla Verde has experienced some tenant turnover in recent years. A Joann Fabrics store closed in 2025 as that retailer went out of business. According to bankruptcy filings, Joann Fabrics had occupied 21,600 square feet at the plaza since 2008.

In another departure, organic grocer Sprouts closed its location at Shoppes at Isla Verde in 2023.

Nordstrom Rack sells off-price apparel, accessories, beauty products, home decor and shoes. Nordstrom said it operates 23 Nordstrom Rack stores in Florida. Its Palm Beach County locations include stores in Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton.
