New Empire Group has landed $43.7 million of condominium inventory financing for a newly built luxury housing development in Long Island City, Queens, Commercial Observer has learned.
Goodman Capital provided a $39.5 million senior loan secured by for the developer’s unsold condos at its 117-unit Radiant project on 24-01 Queens Plaza North that was completed in June. JEMM Capital Partners also supplied a $4.2 million mezzanine loan as part of the transaction that refinances past debt and supports the sponsor through the sale of the remaining residences.

Apex Capital negotiated the financing with a team led by Vincent Martucci and Sana Khaliq.
Located steps from the Queensboro Plaza subway station, the 19-story condo building was designed by ODA New York with interiors by Paris Forino. Resident amenities include a fitness center, an indoor basketball court, a billiards room, a sauna, a golf simulator, and a rooftop terrace with a lounge and grilling station.
“Radiant is a high-quality, newly delivered building in an excellent location,” Eric Goodman, managing partner at Goodman Capital, said in a statement.
