Document Processing Platform Extend AI Signs 9K-SF Lease at 119 Fifth Avenue

An artificial intelligence-driven document processing firm is relocating within the Flatiron District, Commercial Observer has learned
Extend AI signed an 8,750-square-foot lease across the entire sixth floor of 119 Fifth Avenue in a relocation from its current offices at 135 West 29th Street, according to the brokers at Nomad Group.
Nomad did not disclose the length of the lease, but said asking rent for the building, which property records indicate is owned by the Haddad family, was $105 per square foot.
“The companies actually building the future of AI are not abandoning the office — they are raising the bar for it,” Nomad’s Nick Hein, who represented the tenant in the transaction, said in a statement. “119 Fifth Avenue offered Extend the character, status and proximity to an established tech ecosystem that includes Microsoft, Adyen, Legora, Clay and many others, along with a HQ equal to the scale of what they’re building.”

The building from 1906 is at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 19th Street, within the Ladies’ Mile Historic District and several blocks south of Extend AI’s current headquarters north of Madison Square Park, an area that has been a major destination for AI firms.
As recently as late July, AI data platform Chalk signed a lease for 26,607 square feet at Castro Properties’ 43 West 23rd Street, while on Thursday CO reported that AI-driven employee management platform Warp expanded to 24,500 square feet at HRC’s 156 Fifth Avenue.
