A new day care center plans to open a 5,000-square-foot location in Park Slope, Brooklyn, brokers on the deal said.

The yet-unnamed day care signed a 10-year lease for space at 348 13th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues, according to landlord brokers James Monteleone of All Points Real Estate. Asking rent was $50 per square foot.

The spot is one of several day care centers to lease space around Brooklyn this year. Magic Moments Academy took 10,000 square feet in Bedford-Stuyvesant in January; in June, All My Children Daycare & Nursery manned 6,500 square feet in East Flatbush, and Petits Poussins inked a deal for 3,151 square feet in Downtown Brooklyn.

“Day cares were among the hardest hit businesses last year due to the pandemic, but now as more people head back to work, the industry is booming,” Monteleone said in a statement. “This is a great location in Park Slope, which is home to many families and working parents.”

Monteleone represented the landlord, developer Harry Einhorn under 348 13th Street LLC, while Eliot Goldschmidt of Masonre handled it for the day care center. Goldschmidt declined to comment.
