Sorin Medical, a private clinic focused on cardiovascular issues, has leased a 5,686-square-foot retail space for its flagship operation at 120 Wall Street, landlord Silverstein Properties announced Wednesday.

The practice signed a 15-year lease for the ground-floor space, which will have a “wellness and lifestyle-focused design,” when it opens in January 2022. Asking rent for the space was in the $80s per square foot.

The chain, which bills itself as “one of the nation’s leaders in preventative and interventional cardiology,” also has locations in the Bronx, Queens, New Jersey and upstate New York. It also claims the 120 Wall location will be the first office-based, lab and ambulatory surgery center (known as an OBL/ASC) in New York.

The flagship will host a “robotic-assisted angiography system” for use with minimally invasive surgical procedures, and a high-speed computed tomography, or CT, scanner for cardiac scans.

Harlan Strader III, a vice president at Silverstein Properties, said in a statement that the “practice’s arrival reflects an exciting trend of medical and wellness tenants absorbing vacant retail space, and represents widespread post-pandemic faith in Lower Manhattan.”

Jamie Weiner of Manhattes Group and Strader, of Silverstein, represented the landlord in the transaction. It wasn’t clear if the tenant had a broker.
