Signature is currently located in two separate offices nearby at 84 Broadway and 97 Broadway right down the street. It expects to move to its new space in the second quarter of 2021.

Ben Waller and Mark Tergesen of ABS Partners represented the owner, the Forman family, in the transaction. The asking rent was $50 per foot.

The Formans also own Peter Luger Steakhouse, which is on the opposite corner, and have their own offices in the landmarked cast-iron 185 Broadway, which also goes by 183-195 Broadway. They recently completed a full renovation of the four-story, light-filled building, which is adjacent to the Williamsburg Bridge. The family previously used it for printing and it later became the headquarters for the restaurant’s operations.

In addition to Signature Bank, other tenants include an outpost of coworking operator The Yard and two wellness tenants.
