Joe & the Juice has signed a lease for a 1,900-square-foot juice bar and “coffee concept” at the Wildwood Shopping Center in Bethesda, Md., according to a press release from landlord Federal Realty Investment Trust. This is the Danish chain’s second location in Bethesda and third in the D.C. region.

The 10-year lease was signed on Wednesday, according to a spokeswoman for the landlord, who would not disclose the asking rent at the shopping center. Joe & the Juice is slated to open this summer next to Sanctuary Interior Design and Irresistibles, per the release.

“Since we opened our first store in Bethesda two years ago, our regular customers have asked us to come to Wildwood Shopping Center—and now we finally heard their call,” Valdemar Halbye, the head of U.S. retail at Joe & the Juice, said in a prepared statement. The shop’s “new and expanded menu” will include omelets and other breakfast items, freshly made juice, coffee and sandwiches,” Halbye said.

The chain, which has 260 outlets across North America, has an outpost at 1500 K Street NW in Washington, D.C.

The addition of Joe & the Juice comes after recent upgrades and a 4,000-square-foot expansion at Wildwood Shopping Center, the release indicates. Flowerchild is opening in early spring and Bethesda Bagels is slated to open in the summer, Federal Realty Investment Trust previously announced.

“Wildwood’s dining experience offers an expanded selection of handcrafted, fresh and convenient dining options that are complementary to the existing celebrated merchants,” Kari Glinski, the director of asset management at Federal Realty Investment Trust, said in the release.
