MAPIC, the annual international real estate show, descended on Cannes, France, again this year bringing with it nearly 8,600 real estate professionals, investors, developers and retailers from around the world to the resort town.
The three-day event, from Nov. 14 to Nov. 16, featured panels, networking events and exhibitions from companies like Ingka Centres, Colliers International and Savills Studley. More than 2,000 retailers were in attendance including Nike and Primark and the exhibit space featured companies building projects like indoor roller coasters in Tunisian malls. New York City-based attendees included Karen Bellantoni of Newmark RKF, Fritz Kemerling of The Dartmouth Company and Melissa Gliatta of Thor Equities.
Commercial Observer headed over the France for the event this year and here’s a look at what we saw while on the floor of MAPIC.
