Industrial capital markets pros Moon Lim, 34, and Richard Tovar, 36, joined JLL (JLL) from Marcus Millichap, according to a release from JLL. Lim, a senior vice president and his partner Tovar, a vice president started at JLL’s downtown Los Angeles office in late September.

“Moon and Richard are young and rising talents with an eye for detail and tremendous insight into the middle market industrial real estate world,” said David Doupe, International Director, JLL, in a prepared statement. “With the growing need for ‘last-mile’ logistics solutions by e-commerce ventures, and a rise in local manufacturing, demand for small and mid-sized buildings closer to urban centers has risen dramatically.”

Before his post at Marcus Millichap, he spent four years at DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services. Tovar comes to JLL with more than a decade of sales experience in the Los Angeles region.

Major transactions the duo closed in the mid-market industrial sector include the Maywood Towne Center in Maywood for $9.8 million at the beginning of this month and two properties in Vernon— 5524 Alcoa Avenue for $8.1 million and 4555 Everett Avenue for $7.1 million this summer—for a combined $15.2 million.
