Credit investment firm CIFC Asset Management plans to relocate its Midtown East offices within the area to 875 Third Avenue, according to brokers on the deal.

The company inked a 10-year deal for 29,572 square feet on the 24th floor at Global Holdings’ Third Avenue building between East 52nd and East 53rd Streets, as per The Real Deal, which first reported news of the lease. Asking rent for the space was $79 per square foot, said a spokeswoman for CBRE (CBRE), the tenant’s broker.

CIFC will move from 250 Park Avenue office between East 46th and East 47th Streets where it currently occupies a little under 30,000 square feet, according to CBRE and CoStar (CSGP) Group.

Silvio Petriello, Andrew Sussman, Brad Auerbach and David Hollander of CBRE represented CIFC in the deal while JLL’s Paul Glickman, Diana Biasotti and Harley Dalton handled it for the landlord. A spokesman for JLL did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Other recent deals at Global Holdings’ 29-story building include labor and health care law firm Epstein Becker & Green leasing 80,000 square feet in May and Deutsche Bank (DB)’s asset management arm, DWS Group, taking 82,000 square feet a month prior.
