JLL’s Aaron Appel Appointed Head of Debt and Equity Finance in New York

JLL has appointed Aaron Appel as head of debt and equity finance for its New York capital markets practice, the brokerage announced this afternoon.

In his new role,  Appel will oversee a team of JLL professionals responsible for advising institutional owners, borrowers and capital providers. He is also tasked with expanding JLL’s debt and equity and investment sales businesses.

Appel, 36, has originated and closed more than $15 billion in debt and equity deals during his 10-year career.  

“Aaron’s success in the industry is unprecedented given his tenure in the business,” said Peter Riguardi, chairman and president of JLL’s tri-state region. “He has arranged some of the most intricate capital stacks in the city over the past three years, since joining JLL.
