A women’s apparel company has inked a deal to renew its space at 4 Bryant Park, Commercial Observer has learned.

Unzipped Apparel Sales will stay in its eighth-floor, 8,832-square-foot space at the 179,908-square-foot property between West 40th and West 41st Streets for another five years, according to information provided by Adams & Co. The company has occupied the entire floor since its founding in 2008.

Asking rent in the deal was $66 per square foot, according to the firm, which manages the property.

“The company was first drawn to the building for its location across from Bryant Park, which is easily accessible by subway, train and bus,” Adams & Co.’s David Levy, who represented the tenant and the landlord, said in a statement via a spokesman. “Considering the company’s history at 4 Bryant Park, the central location and the modern upgrades, Unzipped Apparel Sales seized the opportunity to remain in the building for an additional five years.”

Levy also noted that the landlord has renovated the 97-year-old building, which has an official address of 1071 Avenue of the Americas.

In April 2015, grab-and-go sandwich shop Pret A Manger signed a 15-year lease at the building, as Commercial Observer reported. The eatery took nearly 4,000 square feet on the ground floor and basement.
