Make Up For Ever, a global cosmetics brand that is sold exclusively in Sephora, is almost doubling its office space by relocating to 841 Broadway in Midtown South, Commercial Observer has learned.

The beauty products firm will occupy the entire fourth floor with its 13,777-square-foot lease in The Feil Organization’s building between East 13th and East 14th Streets. Asking rent in the 10-year deal was in the low-$70s per square foot.

The firm currently has its offices at 853 Broadway, also between East 13th and East 14th Streets, where it occupies 7,700 square feet on the 10th floor of the building.

Make Up For Ever has outgrown its existing space but wants to remain in an “eclectic neighborhood” that provides accessibility to public transportation, shopping and restaurants, according to Oliver Petrovic of Savills Studley.

Petrovic and his colleague Marc Shapses represented the tenant while Robert Fisher represented the landlord in-house. Fisher did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Without enough space for the company to expand in its current building, we worked with ownership to find a solution that enabled it to keep a tenant and satisfy Make Up For Ever’s growing space needs for the future,” Petrovic said in prepared remarks. “[The building] is an ideal location in Union Square that aligns perfectly with the brand’s image and corporate culture.”
