A nearly 90-year-old law firm has inked a deal for new digs along Park Avenue, Commercial Observer has learned.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young has signed a 10-year lease for the 20th floor of 100 Park Avenue between East 40th and East 41st Streets, according to a Cushman & Wakefield press release. The firm, which specializes in corporate transactions as well as commercial litigation, will be in 9,620 square feet at the 36-story tower.

The brokers declined to provide the asking rent through a spokeswoman.

Stradley Ronon is nearly doubling its office size with the new deal. The law firm has been subleasing 5,122 square feet on another floor of the 887,489-square-foot building, according to the C&W spokeswoman.

“100 Park Avenue represents a great opportunity for Stradley Ronon to continue to build their already exceptional reputation here in the New York market,” Remy Liebersohn of C&W, who represented the tenant, said in prepared remarks.

Tara Stacom, Barry Zeller, Justin Royce, Connor Daugstrup and Matthias Li of C&W represented landlord SL Green Realty Corp. in the deal.

Aetna Life Insurance Company recently expanded to 51,000 square feet in the building, as CO reported in November. Tax and accounting firm BDO Seidman leases 121,441 square feet on the ninth through 11th floors, according to CoStar.
