The 425-square-foot retail store, in the Times Square atrium on the second level of the casino at 110-00 Rockaway Boulevard, opens tomorrow. The lease was signed within the last couple of months, according to a a spokesman for the casino, which is operated by the Genting Group.
Founded and based in the Fashion District, Jimmy Crystal designs eyewear, jewelry, handbags, watches and home decor often with hand-set Swarovski crystal elements.
“Welcoming Jimmy Crystal creates an exciting new retail destination at Resorts World, providing our millions of guests the opportunity to experience the designer’s alluring styles,” Michelle Stoddart, the director of public relations and community development at Resorts World Casino New York City, said in prepared remarks. “Combined with our first-class gaming, entertainment and dining options, the addition of this exclusive retailer is yet another reason why Resorts World offers a truly unique experience for New Yorkers and visitors alike.”
The Resorts World Casino New York City’s spokesman declined to provide the terms of the deal, although a source close to the deal said there were no brokers involved.
