Mind Gym Signs Lease for Headquarters in Midtown South

Mind Gym USA, a company that offers corporate learning and development programs, has signed a lease for its new headquarters at 9 East 37th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues.
Asking rents for the 5,000-square-foot Midtown South office were in the mid $40s per square foot.
Redwood Property Group’s David Goldberg represented Mind Gym. The exclusive brokers for the building, Ron Zimmerman, Andy Udis and Ian Weiss of ABS Partners, facilitated the transactions on behalf of the landlord, 9 East 37th Street Associates.
“Mind Gym was attracted to 9 East 37th Street for its new U.S. headquarters because of the look and feel of the open-concept space they could create on the sixth floor, in addition to the relative value it offered and the owner’s high-quality installations,” said Mr. Zimmerman, the executive managing director at ABS Partners, in prepared remarks.
The property at 9 East 37th Street also benefitted from having talent consulting firm Partners in Human Resources International re-sign its 10,000-square-foot lease, ensuring that the building’s occupancy reached 100 percent.
The building at 9 East 37th Street is a 12-story commercial office property that was built in 1920. Other tenants at the building include Precision For Value-New York and Global Coverage.
