Fast Forward Renews, Expands Space in Garment District

reprintsFast Forward, a manufacturer of backpacks, lunch kits, beverage bottles, handbags and luggage, has renewed its lease at 10 West 33rd Street in the Garment District and has expanded its presence there.
According to a spokesman for Adams & Co., which brokered the deal, Fast Forward renewed its current 9,042-square-foot space and added 1,261 square feet. The company plans to use the new space for executive offices and a showroom. The entire space is on the seventh floor.
David Levy of Adams & Co. represented both the tenant and the landlord, Ten West Thirty Three Associates. The asking rent in the 10-year lease was $52 per square foot.
The building, which was built in 1914, is 12 stories and has 319,200 square feet. Other tenants at 10 West 33rd Street include Chaby International, ACI Brands, Gina Group, Global Design Concepts, Fast Forward, Hobo and Stone Mountain.
Fast Forward’s website notes that the company features character-licensed, national brands and private label lines. Its brands include Disney, Marvel, Mattel and Sesame Street, among others.
