Jewelery Maker Expands in Diamond District

A manufacturer of jewelry, Royal Chain Group, has renewed a 10-year lease for 10,000 square feet at Triangle Assets2 West 46th Street, and added 8,000 square feet to its digs, Commercial Observer has learned.

Royal Chain’s 18,000 square feet will span the entire second floor. The asking rents are in the mid- to high-$60s per square foot, according to a spokeswoman for Triangle Assets. Benjamin Stavrach of Triangle Assets represented his firm and Royal Chain in the deal.

Royal Chain has specialized in precious and alternative metal jewelry since its inception more than 35 years ago.

Triangle Assets purchased the 1926 building for $53.5 million in December 2006 and renovated it five years later. Built in 1926, 2 West 46th Street is an 18-story, 141,645-square-foot office building between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas.

Pomann Sound, an audio post and sound design facility, and Jay Suites, a shared-office space provider, are tenants in the 100 percent occupied building.
