Lafayette College, an undergraduate liberal arts college in Easton, Pa., is opening office space in Manhattan for its investment committee, Commercial Observer has learned.
The college secured space at 99 Park Avenue, located between East 39th and East 40th Streets. It will occupy 3,216 square feet of space on the 18th floor of the 26-story building.
Savills Studley’s Chase Gordon represented Lafayette College in the 10-year direct lease, and Jones Lang LaSalle’s Diana Biasotti represented the landlord, Eastgate Realty. Asking rents were in the mid $60’s per square foot.
“Lafayette’s active investment committee needed a Class-A, pre-built space to continue their significant work for the school,” Mr. Gordon said, “99 Park provided a perfect solution in an unbeatable location.”
The space will include a large conference room and private offices.
