42-Story Hotel Slated for West 40th Street

Abraham Noy of 310 Group LLC is turning 310 West 40th Street into a 42-story hotel.
The 401-foot tall hotel, with 287 rooms, will sit on the 4,937-square-foot lot between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, Department of Buildings and PropertyShark records indicate.
It appears that 310 Group LLC acquired the property in 1998, according to city records, but further information wasn’t readily available.
The block is already home to a series of hotels including Distrikt Hotel at 342 West 40th Street, Staybridge Suites Times Square at 340 West 40th Street, Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Times Square at 330 West 40th Street and Four Points New York Hotel at Times Square at 326 West 40th Street.
Mr. Noy didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
