1-01290-0006.csfvcGS7“Expanding its space and extending its lease at 3 East 54th Street will allow the company to consolidate its existing two New York offices, while staying in close proximity to many of its high-end clients,” said Jared Freede of CBRE (CBRE), who represented the tenant, in a prepared statement.

Shawmut has been involved on a number of high-profile projects in New York City, including The New York Palace hotel and the Whitney Museum of American Art. The firm is headquartered in Boston and operates additional offices in Los Angeles, Providence, Las Vegas, New Haven and West Springfield.

As reported by The Commercial Observer, Verigold Jewelry signed a deal to relocate to the 19-story, 228,000-square-foot property at 3 East 54th Street in 2012.

Mr. Freede represented the tenant alongside David Hollander. The landlord, Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, was represented in-house by Marc Horowitz.
