reprintsMekanism, Inc. has signed for a new office in the Financial District.
The San Francisco-based award-winning creative advertising agency will be moving its New York office from 520 Fifth Avenue to Savanna’s 80 Broad Street. The new office will span 10,100-square-feet across the 35th and 36th floors.
“We were able to deliver unique creative space at the top of the building with an installation that many Midtown South tenants are seeking including high exposed ceilings and polished concrete floors,” said Brian Reiver, director of leasing at Savanna. “In addition, they will be able to utilize a setback terrace for private outdoor space.”
“There are very good views of lower Manhattan and water views as well,” he added.
Hal Stein, Todd Stracci, and Adam Leshowitz of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Savanna in tre transaction. The tenant was represented by CBRE’s Sam King and Gerry Miovski. The deal was set for ten years.
The lease comes in light of two deals that were signed at the building. The New York State Supreme Court Officers Association signed for a 3,485-square-foot lease on the 12th floor and Dig Inn Seasonal Market inked a 2,060-square-foot retail store on the ground floor joining Citibank and Gregory’s Coffee.
Asking rents were not disclosed for the deal, but the asking rent generally varies by floor with the upper floors requesting low $40s per square foot.
