Asking rents in the ten-year lease are at $360-per-square-foot.

In a prepared statement, Ms. Consolo said the store will offer “affordable luxury and bear witness to the debuts of designers from Florence, Milan and Rome.”

“Mariana Antinori will be showcasing several different collections never before seen in the U.S.,” Ms. Consolo added in her statement.

Last week, the Consolo-Aquino team introduced Caramel Baby & Child, an English maker of children’s clothes, to 1244 Madison Avenue.

That store, sized at 800 square feet, is strategically situated in a family-friendly section of the tony Upper East Side. Asking rents for that space were at $330-per-square-foot.

When speaking about the Caramel Baby & Child deal, Ms. Consolo said the building was in an “area that is a magnet for children’s apparel, from infants to teens.”
