Commercial real estate in New York City is a gossipy biz, one as much of physical comps like building sales and office-space leases as of personal ones like who closed those building sales and who arranged those office-space leases.

Like our list in 2009–none of the following names made the “10 to Watch in ’10”–it is a subjective survey, but one rooted in potential for an annum that promises to be monumental if only for the anticipation that the city should put the Great Recession squarely in its rearview.
