It’s an old story that’s been told countless times since the recession began: bad economies breed conflict. Yet, it continues to amuse!
The Real Deal, in a bit of fun bottom-fishing, has released a top-10 list of New York real estate conflicts. Number one? Community-center-near-Ground-Zero developer Sharif El-Gamal—exclusively profiled in The New York Observer—versus “mosque detractors.” Number two: the Empire State Building versus 15 Penn Plaza (first reported in The Observer). And so on and so forth.
