Behind every good real estate developer there usually lies a stellar law firm. And with the Great Recession complicating what were once cheery times for the propertied classes, those often unnamed real estate practices have only ramped up their efforts.
Here now, our second annual survey, in no particular order, of the more sought-after law firms in New York real estate.
A note on the below: Unlike in 2009, we chose to focus on individual practices rather than on individual lawyers-again, due to the Great Recession. It has, as lawyers have told us, increased their workloads and therefore their team efforts.
