Meridian Capital Group has named Chad Johnson as a managing director in the firm’s origination group, it was announced last week.
Mr. Johnson, a 20-year real estate and lending veteran who has worked at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Deutsche Bank and Wachovia, will originate loans nationally from offices in New York City and Kansas City, Kan., according to a release.
“Chad’s longstanding and successful track record, in combination with his excellent borrower relationships and tremendous deal experience, make him an excellent addition to the Meridian team,” said Marty Lanigan, senior managing director of Origination and Strategic Initiatives at the firm.”
