But Will Simon Doonan Be There? Two Trees Nabs Barneys Co-op
Fashion retailer Barneys Co-op will open a branch at 194 Atlantic Avenue in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. The chain has three existing stores, in Soho, Chelsea and the Upper West Side. The lease was for approximately 10,000 square feet, and the store is expected to open in September.
“Two Trees is excited to welcome Barneys Co-Op to our building at 194 Atlantic Avenue,” said Jed Walentas, a principal at Two Trees Management Company, the ubiquitous landlord of fashionable Kings County. “The arrival of this fashion mecca makes Downtown Brooklyn a ‘must-shop’ neighborhood.”
