Jason R. Perla and Greg B. Taubin of Savills Studley represented Aviva Investors.

“Once I identified the building and the opportunity, the firm was excited to get into the space,” said Mr. Perla. He said the firm is growing, and the space will have capacity for roughly 30 employees.

Silverstein’s Roger Silverstein and Joseph Artusa represented the property at 1177 Avenue of the Americas in-house. They were assisted by Frank Doyle and Benjamin Bass of JLL.

Silverstein Properties did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Post reported the asking rent was roughly $80 per square foot.

Mr. Perla noted that Silverstein Properties are in the process of modifying the space to accommodate Aviva’s needs. Other tenants in the Midtown Class A office building include Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, Israeli Bank Hapoalim and the non-profit Practising Law Institute.

According to its website, Aviva Investors also has offices in Chicago, Paris, Stockholm, Warsaw, London and Dublin.
